Quiz: You Don't Know Me {1}
Chapter 1
~Running.
I stared at the notes that was laid out on the stand in front of me. I carefully stroked the keys with my fingers of my large piano. I moved it downwards slowly then quickly pushed it up to match the notes. I could see the sun shining its brightest as it began to set and caused the tree outside my window to shadow over my music.
But over my music I could hear my father's shouting to his people. I didn't know exactly the correct words to call them. They're terrible, and I cannot believe I'm bounded to them by blood. All the horrid things they do is inhuman. I raised my gaze to the door while I continued to play my piano.
"That's outrageous!"
My father hollered. I stopped immediately stopped and pounded my fist onthe keys in anger. I stormed out of the room and past the butler.
"Miss. Grace?"
I stormed down the hall, ignoring him.
"Miss. Grace you can't go in there. There's a meeting!"
"I don't care!"
I shouted back, slamming the door open, this silenced everyone.
"Will you shut up! You're so bloody loud!"
My father stared at me blankly and my oldest brother, Adrian looked at me shocked. The two twin boys Adian and Aaron looked at each other and then to me.
"I'm practicing for a concert coming up, I need you to shut up!"
With that hanging in the air, I stormed out of the room. Within seconds I heard my father excusing himself and his classy black shoes began to follow me. By the time he caught up I already had sat down and readied my fingers to play.
"You need to watch your mouth Amaya, You almost lost me the job to kill someone."
"Oh shut up."
I shouted, standing up and away from the piano. I then walked up to him, we were face to face and I knew he felt insulted. All his children were scared of him but me......
"You're pathetic, hiding under the stupid assassination crew. How would this benefit you, you dump idiot? You'll get locked up and my mother wouldn't even bail you out, you know why? Because you're pathetic. You were pathetic then and you're pathetic now!"
He went to punch me but I blocked it and kneed him in the groin.
"Sebastian?!"
"Yes? Miss. Grace?"
I stared at him for a brief minuted. His hair was black and his eyes were red. He wore a black tuxedo as every butler and maid do in this house and he wore a small crest.

I then looked to my father and scowled.
"Take him out of here.
He nodded and dragged my father up and out of the room. I scrambled through my music I stopped as I noticed one of my favourites because it was so calm. I set it in front and grabbed my hair together and placed it on my left shoulder. I then silently began to play Moonlight Sonata written by Beethoven.
"Beautiful."
I looked up without stopping and saw a boy. He had brown hair and yellow eyes. He wore a v-neck and it showed a bit of his tattoo. Her wore a dressy jacket over a navy button up shirt. Unimpressed, I looked back down to my keys.
"Cold."
He said. I stopped abruptly and stood up. He smiled and walked a little in the center of the room.
"So you're the youngest Grace......and by far, the most impressive."
"Let me guess, you're one of the younger people in the assassination my father's involved in who he hired to try and convince me to join him, well you shouldn't even start to try, you're wasting your time."
"Wow....."
Her raised a brow, shocked.
"Those are some deep words.....And your right in a way. My father works with your father but I'm his youngest. I refuse to join him and my older brother."
I looked at him up and down.
"Are you lying to me?"
I finally asked. He shook his head.
"This is some serious stuff. I wouldn't joke about it."
I casted one final look at him, Noticing the sun just finished setting and it was darker in this room. Which made him look like a dark assassin like my father.

"Fine, I'll believe you."
I finally said, he slightly smile. I huffed and closed the case on the keys and began collecting my music. I slipped them in a binder and walked past him, he quickly followed.
"Thanks it? You believe me but we're not even friends?"
I stopped and looked around confused. Then I looked to him with my brows arched up.
"You and me friends? I don't even know you. And you definately don't know anything about me."
"But if you give me the chance I will get to."
"That, I refuse to believe."
"But."
"Leave me alone."
"Look, you may stay and wait for you father, but I have no need to stay.....I have no intentions waiting for my father, or even being here."
"Fine, I'll see you at dinner."
"Why would you say that?
I asked with a cold laugh.
"You father invited mine and myself to join your family for dinner.
"What?"
I questioned, I ran down the steps and past him and to the kitchen.
"Sebastian don't tell me it's true."
"What is it Miss. Grace?"
"We have guest."
"Then I shall not say anything."
"Sebastian!"
"I'm sorry Miss. Grace but your father demanded it, please wash up, food will be done in five minutes."
I walked into the bathroom and washed my hands and took my place at the table while everyone poured in on their own time.
"So, Amaya, I see you're not interested in the family buisness still."
Father scolwed.
"And I never will be."
I mumbled.
"And you, Micheal......you don't like it much either."
"I'd only join you if it were over my dead body."
"Well, I'm glad to say this, we've arranged your marriage."
I spat out my water and gasped.
"He doesn't even know me!"
I scowled. The boy who I met earlier, Micheal, gasped.
"That's absurd!"
I pushed my chair back and stormed upstairs, I've finally had it. I'm running, and no one is stopping me.
"Miss. Grace?"
I opened the door.
"The discussion we had a few days ago, are you seeking to it?"
"Yes, Sebastian I'm leaving."
"And what will we do?"
"We? Oh good, you're coming, maybe you'll know."
"Know what Miss. Grace?"
I looked at him dead in the eye.
"You may know where my mother is."
I spoke dead serious he nodded and walked out of my room without another word. He'll come back. And we'll leave, no one will stop us. My thoughts drifted to what my father said.
"Well I'm glad to announce that you two are to get married."
"What a stupid man."
I whispered at the memory. This Micheal, didn't know me, and he never will remember if I told him who I am. Simple as that, how pathetic can my father be? I scoffed.
"He'll never know me."
I muttered again.
