Did you ever take the time to think that life works in the strangest ways,

that what you do or where you are is meant to be because destiny plays.

That life's gifts are given to you when you least expect it, 

whether it's a blessing or a lesson, but we don't cherish it.

Life moves on, there is no pause button or a button that says " push start"

it teaches us about love and how it can easily be torn apart,

But nothing lasts forever and so we get a change of heart.

And sometimes we don't learn our lessons if we don't feel pain,

that life isn't always about rainbows without a little rain,

the expression 'you play with fire, you get burned' 

We work hard for what we want and that's how it is earned.
